Abstract

Teachers need digital pedagogy capabilities in the technological era, especially in an effort to facilitate deep and meaningful learning according to the needs of students. This study aims to describe the importance of teachers' professional learning communities in educational units which are carried out face to face or virtually, or called Blended Professional Learning Community (BPLC), to improve digital pedagogy capabilities. Through BPLC, teachers have a forum to share good learning practices and share experiences in solving the challenges faced in facilitating students to learn according to the nature and development of technology. The massive development of information and communication technology requires teachers as lifelong learners to be able to improve their digital pedagogical skills and continue to explore information. The data collection technique used reflective interview and survey methods. The research subjects involved 8 teachers of Pertiwi Plosorejo Kademangan Kindergarten who are the driving force and members of the intra-school learning community. The results of the study show that the process of implementing the Blended Professional Learning Community in improving teachers' digital pedagogy capabilities at Pertiwi Plosorejo Kademangan Blitar Kindergarten is carried out by designing a learning community, improving digital pedagogy capabilities, increasing learning motivation, and realizing sustainable competency development at Pertiwi Plosorejo Kademangan Blitar Kindergarten.
