Abstract

This research is to increase students' creativity in the material of recognizing advertisements through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The research was conducted at UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Barru in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The discussion of this research is recognizing advertisements. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is divided into two learning cycles. Each cycle includes planning,  and reflecting. The research subjects were 30 students of class VIII UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Barru. Data obtained from the results of test scores and observations on student learning outcomes. Qualitative description data analysis technique. In the results of the study it was stated that the learning process students experienced an increase from cycle 1 to cycle 2. The percentage of students' creativity in cycle 1 was. Thepercentage increased in cycle 2 to. That is, the application of the Problem Based Learning model can improve the classical completeness of students in class VIII.5 UPTD SMP negeri 1 Barru.
