Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of inclusive education at SD 06 Merau, a border area in Entikong, West Kalimantan, using a quantitative descriptive approach. The method used refers to Provus' Discrepancy Evaluation Model, which assesses the gap between policy standards and actual implementation in the field. Data was collected through questionnaires, observations, documentation, and interviews with the school principal, teachers, and students with special needs. The research findings indicate that the level of inclusive education implementation falls into the low-moderate category, with an average indicator achievement of 46.3%. The main challenges include the lack of operational school policies, limited special education teachers, inadequate physical accessibility, and low participation in inclusion training. These findings recommend the importance of collaboration between the government, schools, and the community to strengthen human resource capacity, inclusive facilities, and a school culture that is inclusive of diversity to achieve fair and sustainable inclusive education.
